Many coaches this year at Bethany have been recruiting especially hard for Bethany’s Athletic Department because of the enormous amount of student athletes that will be graduating this semester, and track is no exception.

The Bison’s new track and field members have definitely turned the program around. The team has started off the season with new members from all over the United States, two of their star participants being freshmen Michael Adams and Heather Grinkly.

Adams is a Maryland Native who has been making a name for himself in the 200-meter dash. Having the fastest time on the Bethany Track Team and also in the PAC promises this young man a spot in championships.

Heather Grinkly is a Virginia native who has been dominating the track and also the sand pit. Grinkly is skilled in races from the 60 meter dash all the way up to the 400-meter dash; she also has begun to be visible when it comes to long and triple jump.

With these and many more talented athletes, the Bison team is sure to excel in the up and coming PAC championships Thursday, February 21st, at Youngstown State University.
